HBO has dropped the first two teaser posters for the second season of House of the Dragon, the prequel to the hit series Game Of Thrones.
The first season’s finale aired back in October, 2022. The second season is slated for a mid 2024 release, though we don’t have a precise date just yet.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.
The season two returning cast includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Additional returning cast includes Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.
The second season will consist of eight episodes and will be available on HBO and available to stream on Max.
