Prime Video has finally confirmed the release date for Warner Bros. Animation’s long-awaited DC series Batman: Caped Crusader, over three years since it was first announced. The new animated show is scheduled to make its debut on August 1 with all ten episodes dropping all at once.
In addition to its date announcement, the streamer also shared the first-look images from Batman: Caped Crusader, providing fans with a glimpse of the titular hero, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, and Clayface.
The logline for “Caped Crusader” reads: “Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—the BATMAN. His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications.”
