Academy Award ® and BAFTA nominees – and Australian icons – Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi arrived at Sydney’s State Theatre this evening for the Opening Night Celebration of their film “Wuthering Heights”, marking the film’s national theatrical release across Australia today.
A bold and original interpretation of one of the greatest love stories of all time, writer/director/producer Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights” stars Robbie as Cathy and Elordi as Heathcliff. The international press tour has stretched from LA to Paris and London, now culminating in the final stop back home in Australia.
The Aussie co-stars made a glamorous arrival, posing for photographers and speaking to the media before greeting the crowds of devoted fans who had waited all day for selfies and autographs.
In addition to Fennell, Robbie also produces the film through her company LuckyChap, alongside producer Josey McNamara and executive producer Tom Ackerley.
The Opening Night Celebration attracted a notable guest list of international and local names including Hailey Bieber, Sarah Snook, Gemma Ward, Nicole Warne, Vas J Morgan, Pip Edwards and Amy Shark.
